Do not waste your time buying cables online … you have no idea where they are coming from and each one has shipping charges … ugh! Tried this once and cables eventually cost twice what could buy from local retailer and arrived independently whenever … Buy from your local retailer … cheaper, faster, and easier …

Would someone please explain to me, why this cable, which is the HD cable for computers, STILL needs another cable to put out audio!? I thought the whole point of HD cables, which this one is as seen by the HDMI port for your TV, is to include both sound and video information in ONE cable! Not so! So if, like me, you want to view movies on your PC on your TV, you STILL need to plug in a wire from your headphone jack to the audio-in on the TV! What a joke! If you want video from your laptop to the TV, this will work, and it does look amazingly amazing, but be warned – you’ll need another cable for sound.
